The Kingdom of Thailand abounds with Historical Sites. Many of the sites relating to old wars with neighbouring Cambodian and Burmese armies are located near the capital of Bangkok. The more religion based historical sites are located around all the regions of Thailand.

The historical sites we recommend that are a definite must see include the old capital of Bangkok called Ayutthaya, the River Kwai in the province of Kanchanaburi north of Bangkok, the Chiang Dao Caves and Temples north of Chiang Mai and the areas around Hua Hin including the Phra Nakorn Khiri Historical Park and the Phraya Nakorn Cave and Pavilion.
